Do you find botanical artwork soothing? Being among lush greenery is healing for the soul. I create botanical artworks with the intention of honoring the natural world while giving the nervous system a soothing break.
I recently visited Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, Alabama. Azaleas, camellias, and tulips were in full bloom. It was a lovely experience walking the winding pathways and finding some glorious new vision everywhere I turned.
Look closely, and you’ll find a humble bumblebee fliting about with pollen-loaded pants. It is fitting that we pay tribute to the very important members of any lush garden, the pollinators. They were definitely out in full force, doing their good work that day.
